Excellent Phase Noise and Pure Signal Output

Delivering an ultra-low typical phase noise of -117 dBc/Hz at 1 GHz (20 kHz offset) and harmonic suppression below -30 dBc, the generator supplies exceptionally clean CW carriers for receiver sensitivity and selectivity testing up to 3.2 GHz. For maximum stability and accuracy over time and temperature variations, the generator can be upgraded with a high-stability OCXO clock reference.

Broad Output Level and Power Meter Control

The RF output level is fully adjustable from -110 dBm to +13 dBm, with a maximum output capability reaching up to +20 dBm (typical), which frequently eliminates the need for external RF amplifiers. The instrument also features full support for USB power meter control, allowing you to connect a compatible power sensor directly to the generator for accurate measurement and automated level control at the input of the component being tested.

Versatile Analog and Improved Pulse Modulation

The unit comes standard with AM, FM, and PM, driven by an internal low-frequency waveform generator. Additionally, it provides advanced pulse modulation capabilities offering significantly improved pulse fidelity with rise/fall times under 50 ns.
